Arguements

Something else that I would like to know about writing argumentative papers would be how much of my own ideas and thoughts can go into the paper without it being completely opinonated. All arguementative papers at some point have the writers own thoughts and ideas about the issue but how much is too much? I would like to know how to persuede my audience rather than pushing them to think a certain way about an issue.

That's a very good and very tough question. You can and should use your own ideas, provided that you maintain a relatively calm tone and support your point with facts.

The question of persuading an audience is a tough one. If people are set in their opinions your best hope is to lay out the information in front of them and hope that it will make them think.
